Volunteer Guidelines
Thank you for volunteering to help raise money for the Arc of Monroe and the Pirate Toy fund! Here’s everything you need to know for a smooth and fun shift. You can select your volunteer shift through the Sign Up Genius link below.
Volunteer Locations & Teaming Up
- We need 2 volunteers per location.
- Feel free to have a friend volunteer with you—it’s more fun with company!
Before Your Shift
- Check in at the Main Ticket Booth (Junction 361) to:
- Pick up your volunteer t-shirt
- Get any last-minute instructions or updates
Shift Details
- Each shift is 2.5 hours.
- Please arrive a few minutes early to help with the transition between shifts.
Selling Wristbands
- Each location will have:
- A cash box with change
- Festival wristbands to sell
- Wristbands are $25.00 on the day of the event.
Accepting Payments
- You can accept digital payments in two ways:
- Square app on your phone (please install beforehand if possible)
- Venmo: Attendees can scan the QR code on the festival poster at your location
Cash Handling
- A volunteer may come by during your shift to collect excess cash.
- If no one arrives, return extra cash to the Main Ticket Booth at Junction 261 at the end of your shift.
- Please leave enough change in the cash box for the next volunteers.
